Amconics warrants Amconics product against defects in MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP, on the following terms and conditions:
The warranty excludes and does not cover any damage, loss, malfunction, defect or other issue arising from or related to (a) act of God, (b) negligence, (c) accident, (d) corrosion, (e) unauthorised modification, (f) repair by any person not authorised and approved by Amconics, (g) lack of or improper maintenance or care, (h) abuse or misuse, (i) inappropriate or improperinstallation, set-up, voltage connection or use, (j) signal reception or tuning of channels orstations, (l) the finish or exterior of the product, (m) any consumables (e.g.. batteries, tapesetc.) or software supplied with the product, and/or (n) use of the product with another product,accessory or software.
Amconics is not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary, consequential or economic damage or loss (including loss of profits, use, anticipated savings, goodwill orbusiness opportunities and loss or deletion of or modification to data, software or information)arising from or related to the warranty (including Amconics’ services under it). Amconics’ liability under or in relation to the warranty (including Amconics’ services under it) is limited to the cost of replacing the product with the same or an equivalent product, or of repairing the product, whichever is lower.
Amconics may use new and/or reconditioned parts in providing warranty service. Amconics will own all parts removed from the product.
If the purchaser (“you”) requests Amconics, and Amconics agrees, to provide any repair services outside the scope of the warranty, you shall pay Amconics service and transportation fees, and the costs of any replacement parts used, at such rates as Amconics may determine in its sole discretion
Amconics shall provide on-site service under the warranty for such products as it determines in its sole discretion. Where Amconics provides on-site warranty service, it is limited only to terrestrial mainland Singapore and Sentosa, and does not extend to any other island or any ship or boat.Otherwise, you shall send the product to the Amconics Service Reception.
Where Amconics provides on-site warranty service, it is only obliged to perform work and services within the scope of the warranty. Amconics is not obliged to perform any other work or services, including but not limited to the removal of the product from any cabinet or casing in which it is housed. For the avoidance of doubt, Amconics is not obliged to perform any work (e.g. installation or dismantling) on any product not at ground level, such as products placed or fixed at anelevated height.
The warranty period shall be the period set out in the warranty application form submitted by you to Amconics. The warranty period will not be extended by any servicing done on the product.
Where the product has a LCD display panel and the alleged defect is “dead pixels”, Amconics may in its sole discretion (but is not obliged to) replace the panel if the complaint is of 5 or more “dead pixels”. Where the number of “dead pixels” complained of is less, Amconics is in all cases not obliged to replace the panel.
Where your product has a hard disk drive or related accessory, the warranty is limited to the hardware components only. You are responsible for backing up all contents (including data and software) of the product, and removing any hardware and software not warranted by Amconics, before requesting for warranty service. Amconics may reformat the hard disk and/or return the product with the configuration as originally purchased (subject to availability of software).
The warranty extends only to Amconics products purchased in Singapore.
Please keep your ORIGINAL PURCHASE RECEIPT and present it for verification when required.
The Warranty is non-transferable, and none of the rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions may be assigned or transferred. A person who is not an applicant for the Warranty shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any terms of this Warranty.
Amconics’ decision on any questions on defects, workmanship or materials relating to the product,or on any other matter related to the warranty, shall be final and conclusive and you irrevocably agree to abide by Amconics’ decisions.
Warranty is only covered for the media player/unit itself. It does not extend to the accessories that comes with it (remote control, keyboard, cables, batteries, adapters..).
