The NEO X7 mini was released in September 2013. Following the tremendous success of the NEO X7, the NEO X7 mini is a scaled-down version equipped with the same Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with Quad-Core Mali-400 GPU. Utilising the same internals as the NEO X7 though in a smaller form factor means the NEO X7 mini is a hugely powerful device, delivering optimum performance far beyond its tiny size.
The NEO X7 mini is powerful enough to browse the web, handle Skype calling and other VoIP call services, stream media content in full 1080p HD with ease, and handle even the most graphically intensive Android™ games – such as Modern Combat 4, Asphalt 8 and many more. The NEO X7 mini, like the NEO X7, comes with Bluetooth 4.0 support and is fully compatible with most Bluetooth keyboards, mouses and Android™ games controllers – including XBox 360, Playstation 3, and MOGA Gaming Controllers – perfect for enhancing your gaming experience on the MINIX NEO Series.
The NEO X7 mini also comes with auto power-on feature, so there is no power button and the media hub will conveniently power up as soon as it’s plugged in. MINIX prides itself on the minimal power consumption of our media hubs, so you can safely leave the NEO X7 mini plugged in and on stand-by mode 24/7/365.
Like the entire MINIX NEO Series, the NEO X7 mini comes pre-installed with Android™ 4.2.2 OS, with a massive array of apps available to download via the Google Play Store – such as Netflix, Spotify, and most popular IPTV apps. The NEO X7 mini also comes pre-installed with Wi-Fi Display and AirPin PRO, enabling you to share media content, such as videos, music, photos, between your smartphone, tablet or laptop and your TV – No more tangled cables connecting your laptop to the TV, now you can instantly share all your media content wirelessly.
XBMC MINIX Edition comes pre-installed on the NEO X7 mini, with full hardware decoding support. This exclusive edition, made in partnership with XBMC, delivers the optimum XBMC experience on Android™.
Power on the device and connect your MINIX NEO X7mini to your PC using the supplied Male-Male USB cable.
If the device isn’t detected by the PC then enable “Connect to PC” on Android Settings -> USB.
