New VOD application added !!
Dear AsiaBox users, a new application, VeryHD.net have been added to your AsiaBox. It contains 15000+ movies and series all over the world ( as good as AsiaLive VOD). Some selected titles are Blu-Ray formats, while others are HD format. However, as this application is in the Beta versions, it still needs further improvement, therefore, we would appreciate that you can try out this application and at the same time give us your feedback on it’s improvements.Search for this application under “ALL” category and scroll to the bottom few pages and look for veryHD.net.
P.S. This is a 3rd party application. Also, more information on this application will be added in the future.

I bought a dream box plus a month ago, was working fine until recently when I can not access IPdvd, VOD is fine, what’s happening?

It may be due to your network configurations. Press the Settings button on your remote and reconfigure the settings. Make sure that the network status shows Connected for wired, and Connected (70%) for wireless. Also make sure that the IP address is displayed. If it still doesnt work, do bring down your DreamBox and let ou staff have a look. Remember to bring along your DreamBox receipt. Thank you.

How come My Asiabox cannot upgrade to 2012 ver.
There’s no need to update your AsiaBox to 2012 version. Its only the AsiaLive VOD that needs updating. However, they have yet to update the latest 2012 contents. In the meantime, you can use veryHD.net to watch some 2012 movies, or other movies that you are unable to find in AsiaLive VOD.

I have use the new application, VeryHD.net,down loading abit slow can do some improvements.and need english ver.
What about AsiaLive VOD can i still watch.

Thank you for your feedback. As the application is still new, we have highlighted some feedback to them. Do bear with us as they fix and improve the appliation usage. As the application load the titles kinda slow, it is recommended to let it load the pictures one row at a time. If not it might “hang” abit.
AsiaLive VOD is still accessible and is working as per normal, just that it has not been updated to the 2012 version.

Under the Apps Market menu, select the “All” category and look for veryHD.net ( might be at last few pages ) application. Once found, click install and enjoy the new streaming application.

VeryHD.net keeps on returning the following error message when i click on a movie
“Unable to connect to the internet.
Please try again!(1)”
Asia Live VOD has no such problem. Please inform the 3rd party developer about this error as cannot watch any movie from VeryHD.net due to this error

If that particular title can’t be play, maybe the link is busy. Do try again later, or you could change to another application to view that same title. Thank you for your precious feedback.

I configure my wireless. But show me error message.

Hi HP,
Try setting DNS server to Google under Setup->Network->DNS server, following that reboot the system and try again. Also, this may happen if you choose the wrong security settings under Setup wizard, or there might be 2 of the same SSID in the area. Hope this helps.

I believe SyaBas have removed veryHD.net from the Apps Market as veryHD.net is also a product of PPTV. IMS reader on the other hand, is linked to other providers, which can be used to watch Movies/Series currently.

VeryHD seemed to be not working & after uninstalling, it cannot be found on the apps market. Please advise on other apps for Asian movies / dramas

For Asiabox, we would recommend using back AsiaLive VOD as the contents are smoother and better than other apps. LeTV contents have been reduced recently, and veryHD have been removed from apps market by the developers. There are still multiple free dramas/series/movies in AsiaLive VOD.
Currently, there’s a Christmas offer for AsiaBox users. Please refer to the latest news page. Offers ends 31st Jan 2013. So hurry.
